Elite Blades Figure Skating Club is a group of young and promising skaters from SM Southmall Ice Skating Rink, located in Las Pinas City, Philippines.
Membership is open to all skaters new and old who wishes to be part of the club. It is a non-stock, non-profit organization who's aim is to support and assist skaters who participate in ISI (Ice Skating Institute) and ISU (Ice Skating Union) sanctioned competitions locally and internationally.
To date, there are about 76 members registered (new, current and non-current) and endorsed by the club. Membership renewal is done on an annual basis and validity starts from the date joined.
The club's officers duties and responsibilities is to inform members of activities and competitions endorsed and sanctioned by PSU (Philippine Skating Union) and SM Ice Skating Rink. They also help raise funds to help subsidize expenses for club get togethers, training of coaches, provide support for ISU-competing skaters, facilitate concerns and communications between the parents and rink management. We are currently working on adding benefits to being a member of the club, suggestions and comments are very much welcome, just send us an email and we will look into it.
As per directive of SM Ice Skating Rink, participants who wish to enter competitions must be a member of a skating club. Membership is mandatory. A memorandum has been issued by the club co-signed by the SM ISR Management to all coaches and posted on the bulletin board. Application forms for membership is available at the SM Southmall Cashier's Office, or you may ask your respective coaches to give you a copy. A downloadable form is available on this site, kindly print and fill up all information required and submit to your coaches together with your payment. As part of protocol, ISR requires the club to give an endorsement letter for all its members competing outside the country.
The club has an official uniform for competitions, only current and registered members of the club may avail the uniforms. Updates will be posted on the Announcement page.
